A doctoral thesis showing the role of security media as a fundamental pillar of supporting the national security system

 

The latest scientific theses have emphasized the importance of the role of security media in society, as it is not just a transmitter of events, but rather a basic pillar for supporting the national security system by spreading awareness, enhancing transparency, and developing a sense of security and prevention among individuals through their cooperation in Maintaining security and stability.

 

  This came in a thesis entitled The Role of Security Media in Supporting National Security Issues by researcher Karim Massad Fahmy Sharaf at the Graduate School of Statistical Research at Cairo University, with which he obtained a doctorate in risk and crisis management.

 

 The scientific thesis explained that the security media has an influential contribution to building a stable societal entity that has the ability to address all the current and expected challenges facing the country. Internally and externally, it has also become a means of expanding the cognitive horizons of community members so that they can be in direct contact with events.

The discussion committee consisted of Prof. Dr. Al-Sayyed Khater, former dean of the Graduate School of Statistical Research at Cairo University, professor of vital and population statistics, and Dr. Iman Mostafa Muslim, General Coordinator of Professional Programs at the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Statistical Research at Cairo University, Major General Staff Ahmed Al-Sayed Abdel Razek, Deputy Secretary-General of the National Defense Council, Lecturer at the Police Academy, Dr. Ahmed Issa Abdullah, and Dr. Khaled Saad Ali Qutb.

Dr. Karim Massad Fahmy Sharaf stressed that the relationship between security and the media is a relational one, as the media through its various means (read, audio and visual) plays an important and prominent role and effectively affects support for national security issues.
